Yes it is hot, I cannot imagine wearing a wedding dress, but I do wear a suit, shirt and tie on a daily basis and it can be uncomfortable.
I am a great believer in drinking upteen litres of water every day which seems to help the bodies cooling system.
Good luck to you, enjoy the day...

I got married in Ayia Napa last year on the 3rd August. It was HOT!!! 44 degrees. I think I was better off than my hubby though. I had a massive off the shoulder dress with loads of netting underneath so I was able to get some air in, hubby had suit jacket and waiscoat, his choice, and he melted. The worst thing was trying not to rub sweat off your face for fear of smearing any of your make up off. The photos are amazing though, they made it look like we werent boiling and flushed. We got married at 11, my choice but having the photos took at lunchtime in that heat was hard, specially for older guests and kids. I bought fans for the women but the men wanted them too! Also umberellas are a good idea, you can buy them over there in the wedding shop just in the square near the harbour opposite the Queen Vic pub. Hope you have a lovely day

I actually requested that we get married as early as possible because I wnated the day to last. A car picked me and the bridesmaids up at 8 and we had our hair and make-up done, we were dropped back off at the hotel at 10.15, we got dressed and left, no messing or hanging around. We got married at the town hall because the hotel where we stay dont do weddings. By the time we had our photos took and got back to the hotel it was around 1.30pm. The hotel opened the air cond bar for us and we had cocktails then we all got changed into our swimwear and had lunch round the pool. We all sunbathed and relaxed in the afternoon, I kept my tiara in and wandered to the shops in my just married bikini still with my tiara on, then around 6pm we all got changed again, I put my dress back on, the bridesmaids put their dresses back on, hubby %26amp; men all put their suits back on etc and we walked up the road to mine and hubbys fav restaurant for a meal where we cut the cake. It was great walking round Ayia Napa, everyone pipped their horns and congratulated us, and then after the meal we had a drink in the bar next door and ended the night around midnight. On the way back to the hotel a bar had a singer on and we danced outside the bar on the pavement to her singing Madonna%26#39;s Crazy for you while everyone clapped and took photos. It was such a relaxed day and I will never ever forget it.

It was very hot when we were married in Cyprus in September (almost 10 years ago now). You can see on our photos where the sweat is dripping down my husband%26#39;s legs and through is trousers. I wasn%26#39;t too bad because I was wearing a huge hat that kept the sun off me.
When we were having our photos taken in some gardens in the centre of Paphos a wasp flew up my dress and I had to whip my skirt up round my ears to get to it. Needless to say, we got a few pomps and toots from the passing cars!

Hi
We married on the 25th July this year at Napa Mermaid at 11am, im sorry to tell you but even at this time of the day it was still very hot even though the hotel was fully air conditioned, not sure whether it was more to do with nerves though, just relax and enjoy your day, yes it will be hot but you%26#39;ll remember it forever!!! good luck
