Trains in Cyprus

Hi all,

Just wondering whether there is a train serivce in Cyprus and whether its reliable etc?

As i dont drive, i would like to get to see a bit more of the island whilst there in September, but could prove a bit tricky.Any info would be great.

I was reading up on cyprus earlier today, and as far as I read, there is no railway system in cyprus.

Go to any third world country %26amp; they will have a train service of some sort, the only ones still in existance over here will be the Meccanno ones from liverpool in 1964 LOL

Sorry Will no trains, but the bus service is improving.

From Limassol there is a decent bus service that serves most of the island. There is a good one that takes you up to the mountains, well worth the trip and relatively cheap.
