Which hotel?

Hi

We are trying to decide which hotel to stay in in Ayia Napa this summer. We have left it very late to book and the only hotels that are available are Nissi Beach, Grecian Bay, Atlantica Aeneas and Anmaria Beach. We want a mixture of going out to the square, going out for meals and want to be in distance of a beach. They are all about the same price except that Atlantica Aeneas is half board, Anmaria Beach is all inclusive and Nissi Beach and Grecian bay are B and B. The rooms stated are a pool view stated at Nissi Beach and Atlantica Aeneas and no view at the other two. Which would you pick? has anyone been to these hotels who could give us their advice. thanks very much in advance.

Oh the Napa Plaza is available too but the pool looks a bit green on the pic. This is for half board and a pool view. Would this be another option??

thanks

Nissi beach for me, good location right on beach

Hi,

Haven%26#39;t stayed at any of these, but know that the Nissi Beach 7 Aeneas are within very close walking distance to Nissi Beach itself. The Aeneas looks lovely - but can%26#39;t comment on the others,as I don%26#39;t know. I think that the Grecian is the other side of Ayia Napa? Close to the centre of Ayia Napa rather than in the Nissi Bay area - so that may be a consideration - what do you want - closer to the centre or to Nissi Beach?

We%26#39;ve stayed at the Adams Beach before and going again in three days. That hotel is lovely - fab pools, ideal location (rigth next to Nissi Beach) - but a 25 min walk (or quick taxi ride) to centre of Ayia Napa.

Hope this helps?

The Grecian Bay is just outside Ayia Napa on the road to Cape Greco. 5 minutes walk to the centre and harbour. Right on a fantastic beach. Nissi Beach is as the name suggests- right on Nissi Beach. I think it%26#39;s slightly further out of town- on the opposite side of town to the Grecian Bay. Napa Plaza should be a bit cheaper- but then again I think it%26#39;s just off the centre- so great for night owls- not so good if you want a quiet relaxing time.

Read the reviews for the hotels and take your pick, you can%26#39;t be too far wrong with any mentioned.

imo i would go for half board, ive just came back from nissi bay yesterday and it is very expensive to eat, there are not many cheap places to eat at all and the distances are long to walk in such high temps.

thanks everyone for your advice. I have booked the Atlantica Aeneas at Nissi Beach so I hope its ok now. Gone for half board.

Thanks again

stayed at the atlantica aeneas at beginning of june this year, booked half board but upgraded to all inclusive, well worth it as the drinks are quite expensive, the pool is absolutely out of this world, the staff are brilliant, food is really good, bus stop right outside hotel (opposite adams beach) takes you right into centre of ayia napa 1.35 euros and it comes every half hour taxi is 7 euros, nissi beach just over the road, fab beach, hope you have a

brilliant holiday, we%26#39;ve booked again for next year, i would be interested in hearing how you got on, oh and dont miss the managers coctail party, have a great time.
