Hi guys just need a bit of advice please. i am looking to book cyprus for a week self catering. I have been warned it is really expensive, how much money should i take with me. we are a couple with a hungry 9 year old going for a week.
We would normally have lunch and dinner out every night a a few drinks during the day, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Also - anyone know what the temp would be in oct?
Thanks
Vicki

that will cost you at least 60 euros a day without drinks the cheapest we could find was 8 eurod for pasta, drinks are very expensive 4 or 5 euros sometimes and ice creams are 3.50 each and the beach is very expensive aswell for food, you will need at least £500-£600 for the week

We (2 adults )found that 100E per day covered the cost of a snack at lunchtime -the odd ice cream and a very nice meal with wine in the evening
The only real expense we had was car hire - we were foolish and booked it with Thomson/First direct when we arrived - should have done our homework and pre-booked

hi , my wife %26amp; I spend £1200 in a fortnight . eating, drinking, going where we want etc. we don%26#39;t go clubbing etc but i doubt you will be either! supermarkets are everywhere %26amp; are well stocked %26amp; reasonably priced so my wife %26amp; i stock up with beer, wine, pop, ice cream, crisps etc for the apartament as this always saves us money
an evening meal will cost you £40ish. beer about £1.80. avoid the tourist traps at the front in the various resorts, go where the cypriots go %26amp; you%26#39;ll save money.don%26#39;t drink at the english bars a bud will cost you £3ish but if you go to a cypriot bar £1.80ish a pint of keo.
the temps will be in the mid 70%26#39;s. have a great time. any questions please email.
