I am looking to a alternative to the Canaries in early April

whats the weather like in Paphos at this time ??? , is it suitable for sunbathing round pool ??

Hi Nick, it can be hit and miss, heavy cloud and somtimes rain, we have been there and it has been quite good, but that is unusual, my sister went this April and the whole week was cloud 15 - 20

I have tried many places at that time of year (to fit in with school holidays ) and its simple - Europe does not warm up until late May

Weather2Travel.com is also good %26amp; can tell you humidity, hrs of sunshine etc.

We were in Limassol this yr on the 12th %26amp; 19th, beginning %26amp; ending a cruise %26amp; both days were lovely; very pleasant, def good enough for sunbathing %26amp; there was a warm breeze, but we had been told it was hit %26amp; miss, so decided not to book a week in Paphos, after the cruise.

Have a look at Sharm el Sheik in Eygpt. It%26#39;s a modern resort - only about 30 years old, the hotels are of a high standard, and the weather will be great in April.

Hello Nick,

The weather in Cyprus is comparable to that in the Cannaries.

You could be lucky and have warm temepratures up to the mid 20s but also it could be cloudy and overcast.

We have been over the Easter period and found it pleasant, high teens - low 20s.

The pools are a little on the chilly side as is the sea.

By mid May it is a marked difference.

If you want Winter / Spring Sun then try the Carribean or Eygyt.

We stayed in Paphos for the last 2 weeks in April 2007 and the weather was fantastic. Other than one day when it rained it was hot and sunny every other day. It was a little bit chilly on an evening but ok with a light cardigan or jacket. We spent a few days in the mountains and it was a little bit cooler but still very sunny.
