Where is the best place o stay in Cyprus??

Im travelling to Cyprus towards the end of October with my husband, our baby who will be 4 and a half months old and my in laws. We want a lovely beach, a 4 or five star, beach front, all inclusive hotel that offers tea/coffee making facilities (for making up bottles) in the rooms. Im just unsure of where the best places to stay are as there are so many. I would really appreciate the help, many thanks, Gemma x

Hi Gemma and welcome to TA - if your priority is a lovely beach then you%26#39;re probably looking at the eastern side of the island. I%26#39;m sure someone will be along with some recommendations for you.

Hi Gemma

We haven%26#39;t stayed at any all inclusive hotels but The Four Seasons in Limassol is a good five star and right next to it on the same beach is the Mediteranean which is a good four star. They are on a nice stretch of beach and there is a nice beach path which you could stroll along with a pushchair, my husband and I walk along to the end in the mornings before breakfast and it takes an hour to go to the end and back in one direction and slightly less in the other direction and it has lights at night. The Four Seasons has tea/coffe making facilities in the room (not sure about the Med). In Paphos we have stayed at the Paphos Amathus (5 star) and the Elysium (5 star). The Amathus is in a good position for restaurants of all types. When we walked out in the direction going away from the Harbour there were lots of nice looking hotels that could well have been all inclusive but not sure what they were called. The beaches in Paphos itself are not always that great if you are thinking long stretches of sand. You can find nice beaches in other areas but not always with hotels. Coral Bay has a good beach and there may be an all inclusive there. The Cypriots will make a huge fuss of your baby they all seem to love children. Hope you find somewhere suitable.

Actually Gemma I was being a bit short sighted when I replied to your post. Just thinking of the places we have been. Thinking about it you might be better in somewhere like Protaras or Nissi Beach area. I understand the beaches are much nicer in that area.

Haven%26#39;t actually been there so not much help.

Hi Gemma, My family which inclued 4 children and 5 Adults over 3 generations stayed in the Iliada Beach in Protaras. It is a 4* hotel and we went All Inclusive. The Hotel, the surrounding gardens and pools are beautiful there are plenty of sunbeds (We went at Whit 2008) and the gardens lead directly onto the beautiful sandy beach. there are stacks of Tavernas and Supermarkets right on the doorstep. There was a fridge in the room but unfortunately no tea making facilities but you could get round that with a travel kettle. The plug sockets are the English 3 pin type. All the children loved the Hotel and so did my 70yr old parents! so it suits all ages We all said we would go back again. Its worth considering good luck!
