Not sure about Penera, but there is a gorgeous one on the strip in Protaras, cakes to die for, fresh salads etc, you could always call if your that way.

Not been to Pernera for a few years but there was a bakery at the top of the hill on the left hand side on the main Pernera strip, just across from the Chinese.Used to have a shoe shop upstairs and a small supermarket at the back.

The bakery is still there at the top of the hill in Pernera - 5 minutes walk from the Domniki. Enjoy

I can confirm what Kath said, but the best one is in Protaras itself, superb Cheesecakes, excellent choice of cakes and open until late at night, oh and good salad bar.

Thank you all for your help is the hill very steep to the bakery still have nighmare of the bakery in Pefkos never seen a bank as steep the incline was horrendous thought i was taking a heart attack with the temprature being in the 30 degrees bbut it was worth it as the cakes were lovely.By the way my other half likes indian food is there any indian resturants in the Pernera district.

Hi Lesley, no its not a steep hill. There is an Indian restaurant, I think it was called Shalamar.

The Shalimar Indian is just up the road from the Domniki - opposite The Livas apartments - only 2 minutes from your apartments. There have been mixed reviews on the restaurant. I wanted to try it in May but it didn%26#39;t open until the day we left - not sure whether I could tackle a curry in the fierce heat of Cyprus though.
