half board or self catering

which one is the better value, im already booked into self catering but i am thinking of changing it to a hotel so we can get half board, as im thinking that going self catering will be more expensive, as there are 4 of us and my daughter is 13 and she eats adults meals now, and help, thanks

Don%26#39;t forget that if you book half board your 13 year old will be classed as an adult, and be priced accordingly. Also you might all be squashed into 1 hotel room, so this is another consideration. Why not find a hotel you fancy and price it up, see what the difference is and go from there?

Self catering for me, it may be more expensive but if you have a bad meal in a restaurant, you dont go back, whereas if the food in the hotel is not very good your stuck with it. I hate all that long trousers carry on and being regimented with eating times.
