Protaras to North Cyprus

Can anyone tell me the best way to travel from Protaras to North Cyprus?

We only require a one way journey so car hire is out of the question.

Are there bus services from Protaras to the checkpoints?

We can probably get a taxi once across the border to take us to our destination.

Any help or info greatly appreciated.
