does anyone know where the best place is to change travellers cheques?
What do you advise me to take euro travellers cheques or sterling travellers cheques?
Do most places charge commission? What was the best exchange rate while you were there?

cant remember the rate we got but the best deal was in the bike hire shop on the corner by the Odessa Hotel.

You need to shop around when you get there. I don%26#39;t take travellers cheques, just sterling. Rate at end of May was between 1.19 and 1.23. Hotels/apartments seemed to offer the poorest exchange rate sometimes as low as 1.17. Check the banks as well and look for places that don%26#39;t charge commission.

Try the Chemist at the top of the stip just down from Macdonalds. I am not sure about Travellers Cheques but this is where i go to change my Sterling.
