Just read an article on the BBC about water levels reaching a new low and the worst since 1908 on Cyprus. The Greek side are shipping in 2 tankers a day but only to southern Cyprus.
Just wondered how the North was affected and whether it was having an impact on tourism i.e. water rationing for swimming pools etc? ?

JPBoyle - the North is affected too. The difference, however, is that they have been rationing water since last year and they are all used to having their tanks filled up every third day.

I was in the North on Sunday. My TC friends find the water panic in the South amusing (in a nice way). They have been suffering for alot longer, but seem rather better at rationing than we do in the South.
