Louis Phaethon Beach Club Hotel

Hi, I am having trouble in deciding on a hotel for a 1 week holiday at the end of June. Have heard that the Louis Phaethon Bech Club is a great 4*, but some reviews mention that it is far from the harbour. Are there any bars/club%26#39;s/restaurants near to the Phaethon, and also how far is it to the harbour? Im looking for a 4* hotel for me and my partner (both in our 20%26#39;s), close to the centre of Paphos, with bars etc nearby.

Ive also heard that the Paphian Bay is quite nice. Any info on either hotel would be greatly appreciated!

we%26#39;ve been to the phaethon beach five years running and obviously love the place.

this hotel is about 10 mins bus ride from the main town but there is an area of shops and bars about half way betweeen the two, buses and taxis are very reasonable prices (or at least it was before they went euro). for the more energetic people it is quite a nice walk along one road so there%26#39;s no chance of getting lost, just watch out for the time share sellers.

i don%26#39;t know anything about paphian bay so i can%26#39;t help you there i%26#39;m afraid.

How far is the Phaethon from the harbour? Ive heard its the last hotel on the way out of Paphos?

Are theres shops and bars reasonably close to the hotel (walking distance)?

Hi,

yes it is the last hotel out of paphos and usually the first drop from airport (about 30 mins if that), therefore there is a little bit of aircraft noise but not enough to disturb you too much.

the nearest shopping area is about 15 min walk from hotel but there is the odd shop / supermarket on the way.

this shopping area has many shops, bars and restaurants but if you want the high life you may prefer paphos centre. you may find if you stay at the phaethon you will not need any restaurants, the food is out of this world (quality and variety)
