Hi all, I%26#39;m going to Paphos at the end of July and wonder if anyone would be kind enough to provide some information on the Marina Complex. It sounds as though its by the sea but the maps I have seen indicate its much further back.
I%26#39;m told its no more than a 15 min. stroll to the harbour so is that correct? Also, what are the restaurants like close to the complex? If anyone has stayed there or knows the facilities, please let me know what you think.
I know there is a water shortage problem but most reports say that this area of Paphos is OK and the problems are with the villas and vilages further out. Is that the case?
Any other useful information for a family of 4 with children of adult size would be welcome.

If the apartments are on the Universal Estate then you will not be further than about a 15 to 20 min stroll from the harbour. You do have to cross a dual carriageway to Bar St but there are suitable crossings with traffic lights. If you have teenagers that are at the older end then they will be safer alone than going out in this country. The area where you are staying (Kato Paphos)is having water shortages every other day from 7.30am to 7.30am (I have heard that no one is affected on Sundays). There should be sufficient water in the tanks to last you if you don%26#39;t leave the taps running when washing teeth etc. All the apartments on the estate are very modern and the oldest blocks are only about 6 - 7 years old. Have a great time!
