athena beach Hotel

Has anyone stayed at the Athena Beach Hotel and been married there? we are to be married there in Aug 06 (booked with Thomas Cook Weddings) and help needed as to where to have the reception, what flowers are available, beauty treatments etc etc... Thanx

Got married in Paphos in October 2004 and stayed at Athena Beach. Booked through Thomas Cook and wedding rep was excellent, they have a dedicated Weddings team in Paphos so you get lots of help. On the day we arrived we had a message from our weddings rep to meet the next morning, she checked all our documents, made arrangements for anything we needed - limo etc and advised us of the time for our appointment at the Town Hall to complete the formalities before the wedding. She gave us a contact card in case we needed to check on anything and then was with us on the day of the wedding to ensure things ran smoothly.

They can book flowers, hair and beauty , transport etc and will also help you choose a location for your reception.

We had already arranged flowers through a local florist via e mail and had booked Goerges fun bus to get our guests to and from the town hall with a tour on the way back to the hotel where we had booked our reception.

We booked the reception through Iordannis ( food %26amp; beverage manager ) at the Athena by email and booked the a la carte restaurant for the afternoon, there are lots of options you can choose from.

I had my hair done at Joanna;s in the Limenaria shopping centre as I had been recommended to use her and my bridesmaids had their hair done there too- she did a lovely job and even gave me a gift as I was leaving.

Hi we are gettingmarried at the Athena beach Hotel in sept o8, im getting abit nervous now, got to sort out photographer and flowers when we get there! Any suggestions???? did you avtuakky get married in the hotel grounds????

I assume that you used the search engine to find this post as it%26#39;s dated 2006. I can%26#39;t help other than to say try using it again %26amp; find some others that are more up to date; I put in Athena Beach weddings %26amp; came up with a few that refer to wedding planners so maybe they will direct you to someone who can put your mind at rest.

We got married there in August 06 and from start to finish it couldn%26#39;t have been more relaxing and the staff were brilliant. Our wedding co-ordinator at the Hotel(George) was fantastic. My parents went back there last year for my dad%26#39;s 60th and said the Hotel was the same, excellent service, very clean etc. There is a beauty spa at the Hotel although I had my nail extensions done before we left the u.k, but my mum etc had their nails done and few other bits and the girls were really good.
