We are going to Cyprus (Paphos)on Setember 1st.

We would like to pick up a car at the airport.

Can any one recommend a company and also - have we left it too late or will we be o.k.? Reagards

Weve just booked our car for paphos 2 days ago with Economy cars.com weve got a clio for !36 from the airport for 1 week which i didnt think to bad some sites are asking £200 up good look Lui thats for 5 sept by the way !!!

We got a car for 3 days during our week long stay. Be warned, the Rep tried to get us to rent a car through Avis for 200 euros for 2 days. We got a car through Horizon (in Paphos Harbour) for 130 euros for 3 days including tank of petrol. Sure we could have got an even better deal, but just wanted it sorted. But don%26#39;t get caught out.

Try EuroCar or AutoEurope 3000. Can get the exact name if you are struggling. Am currently out here in Coral Bay and they have delivered a car to my hotel for 20 days hire and CDW, additional drivers and the Insurance Excess insurance for 370 sterling. The car is A/C Nissan Micra with about 10k on the clock and is actually sub contracted from budget. Had to pay for full tank of fuel and leave empty....was 50 euros....however already used one tank so this won%26#39;t be a problem. Thought this was quite a decent price and was well impressed with the service so far. Was quoted as much as 550 sterling!!!

Oh and by the way it is hot hot hot here...90 plus today and set to get hotter!!!

Thanx for all ur replies especially Morange. We used Savvas in the end and are getting a Toyota Yaris all inclusive for £140 for a week and communication with him so far have been excellent. Again thanx

We are going to Paphos in just over 3wks time. Can we just pick something up for a day or so if we fancy it?

Also, what ID will be expected and will credit card suffice for the deposit?
