Don%26#39;t go to the Louis Phaetheon Beach - it is terrible.

Hi
Athena Beach is a good Hotel for families, nice pools and a water slide for the kids. Quite a big Hotel though.

Unfortunately Louise had a bad experience at the Phaethon Beach but the vast majority of people thoroughly enjoy and go back year after year including myself. it is a thomson family all inclusive hotel with plenty to do no matter what age. the problems Louise had were due to inconsiderate parents (dont care what their children are doing or more importantly where, and dont use the special nappies that are available for the pool) not the hotel. The only down side to this hotel, that we%26#39;ve found, is the beach in front of the hotel is very small and terrible under foot due to it being rocky, but within a few hundred yards there is a better beach, also there is a regular bus route (stop outside hotel) that will take you to the best beach in the area at Coral Bay (hotel will provide pack lunches on request should you want days out anywhere).
we find the staff cant do enough to help you and the animation team of years gone by are brilliant, haven%26#39;t been this year yet but we do intend to go next month. Dido is still chief animator and always has good staff working for him.
food - excellent choice, three different eating areas at lunch time, fast food ,chinese or the main restaurant.
cleaners - plentiful and friendly
should you have any problems just mention it to the reception staff and it will be dealt with promptly.
the decor is looking a little tired in places but they are always refurbing, this hotel is open all year round so as you can imagine they do what they can when they can,
at the end of the day make what you want out of a holiday and always go with an open mind. what you like / dislike is not necessarily what the next person does.
hope this helps, jayne

phaethon beach- came back yesterday and had a fantastic time. i have two kids 5 and 3 and they loved it and were entertained from morning to night.
also the all inclusive is a bonus as cyprus is so expensive.

HI,
I guess you%26#39;re looking for a hotel in Paphos area? If not, the Adams Beach is really nice in Nissi Bay - a lovely area - a good 25/30 min walk form Ayia Napa. It%26#39;s a 5* with fabulous pool area (iinlcuidn two slides). We went 2 years ago and going back in 3 days - it%26#39;s been renovated in the last few months apparently.

the anabelle is alovely hotel but as you prob know not cheap and on bb cyprus is very expensive. i have stayed at various hotels in cyprus all 4 5 star this time my whole family are going and we are staying at pheathon beach this hotel mostly have great reviews it all depends on what you want? alinclusive eat and drink what you want with loads of fun in the sun mixing easily with other families then the pheathon is a good choice, my daugther loved this hotel and we are there for her wedding next month.

Try the Louis Imperial Beach - my family stay there 3/4times a year. I have stayed at the Athena Beach and would also reccommend it

We have stayed at the Louis Imperial Beach on a number of occasions, rooms are nice, very clean, staff are very friendly and enough entertainment if you want it, but not in your face if you don%26#39;t!
