directions for pahos airport to Polis

please can somebody give me decent directions to my hotel/resort.

i am staying at Stephanos Hotel in Polis %26amp; am picking up a car at the airport but i am struggling to find any decent maps in the uk either in shops or on internet.

any help would be hugely appreciated

try www.polis-index.com for maps not great but better than non

look on polis maps ,Pafos area map gives you a rough directions.(B8) (B7)to polis you enter polis on the B7 (KYPROLENTOS) name of road, your hotel No 31 on map (look in apartments)

The car hire company should also give (or leave) you a map with the car. If you ask, I am sure the hotel people would give you directions. Once you get near centre of Paphos the Polis road is well signposted. Polis itself has some one way roads and even now I usually end up turning the wrong way !! But its quite small - just ask.

Once you get on the Polis Road it%26#39;s very easy and direct all the way in with no traffic lights or junctions.When entering Polis look out for a right turn for Argaka/Pomos(not sure which).Stephanos is about 50 yards down on the left smack on a corner,just drive straight in to the car park.

The wife and i stayed at the Stephanos last year and loved it.A very nice family run it and it%26#39;s only a couple of minutes walk to the Square.

hi , right here goes but be warned i%26#39;m not the best at directions !!

come out of paphos airport %26amp; follow the signs to paphos (b6 or a6 doesn%26#39;t matter which as they both lead into paphos) , then look for the b7 which is the pahos-polis road (don%26#39;t worry i%26#39;m sure there are plenty of road signs). get on the b7 to polis stay on it 45 mins later approx %26amp; you%26#39;ll be in polis. as i%26#39;ve said it%26#39;s well signposted(signposts are in english as well as greek (%26amp; they drive on the same side as us).

if you do get lost , don%26#39;t worry as the locals are very friendly %26amp; will point you in the right direction. maps are available in most shops %26amp; are not expensive.

you%26#39;ll have a great time as polis %26amp; the surrouding area is wonderful.

p.s. there is a tourist advice office in polis where they will give you free maps.

Have just sent for a map on the internet from Stanfords map shop. Try them.

We are also going to Polis from Paphos airport.

I%26#39;ve been told to join the motorway towards Paphos, drive to the end of it (15 minutes) and go straight to Polis (well-signposted), takes another 45 minutes. As stated before that little local map is the one we shall use when we get there to find our apartment. We%26#39;re travelling about 4 o%26#39;clock in the morning so won%26#39;t be many people about that we can ask.
