Hi there, I am travelling to the Kefalos Beach Resort next week and was just wondering if I need to pre-book a Taxi from Paphos Airport? Also, we have a 1 bedroom apartment at the Kefalos, does anyone know what the configuration of the room it?
Thanks

From what i have read you can get a taxi from paphos airport, and also have read that it is very wise to get a price first!! So if there are taxis there it may pay to ask 1 or 2 different drivers,You never know you may save a few euros that way.
By the way, when do you go to the kefalos ?

We have just come back (Saturday) from the Kefalos Beach Village - the villa is one bedroom, one bathroom and a lounge/kitchen area where the sofas can be made into extra beds, and a balcony/veranda. Don%26#39;t know about the taxi, sorry, got a coach there - its only about 15 minutes away.

Thanks heaps for your input. We fly out on 6th August and looking forward to it very much.

No probs - if you need any more info just let me know.

Hi
I am travelling out to Kefalos in a few weeks too. Can I ask how if you know how close the nearest key card/atm is? Did most restaurants take VISA?
Thanks

All the restaurants we used took Visa/Mastercard. Don%26#39;t know where the nearest ATM is but its 2 minutes walk to the Tomb of the Kings Road where there are loads of shops, restaurants etc, so I would think there must be something within easy reach.

Have to say, did find it more expensive that I thought I would do. Obviously due to the Euro/£ exchange, but no more expensive than the UK.

Do any of you have any specific restaurant recommendations? We are travelling with 2 kids 5 and 2 so it doesn%26#39;t need to be too flash. It would also nice to get out of the tourist traps.
Thanks heaps.

Just back from Kefalos on 24th. You should love it. If you head up to TOTK road and turn left, keep going until you get to the entrance to the Tomb of the Kings Heritage site. Directly opposite is a restaurant called Karlina. Their menu is very reasonable and they do fantastic local dishes at around 6-8 Euro. They bring a basket of fresh crusty bread to the table, and with your bill they bring the usual complimentary liquers and also a bowl of fresh fruit. The staff are so friendly and grateful for your custom and are so pleased to welcome you back if you do decide to return. Enjoy!
