Going to Protaras for the first 2 weeks of August with my hubby and baby daughter who will be 9mths. We are staying at the Capo Bay hotel.
Can anyone recommend some good family restaurants? Are there any highchairs at any of the restaurants or am I really pushing my luck here??!!
Anyone got any advice for travelling with a baby - crazy to be doing this in August with the heat I know but its a special family occasion.
Also are there plenty of ATMs/banks? I cannot recall from my last visit which was some 10 years ago.
Also for anyone who has been there with a baby are the supermarkets well stocked with baby essentials or are there some things I should not leave the UK without??!
Lots of questions I know, but any help/advice would be much appreciated for an anxious mother!

Do not have any worries on baby staff sold on supermarkets. You will be able to find everything you need-locals have babies as well! Now, I can%26#39;t suggest any good family restaurant since I hadn%26#39;t been at Protaras area with my kids recently (I do not consider, to be honest, Protaras to be a child-friently area since there is not much entertainment for kids apart from the beach)but, in general restaurants usually have a couple of highchairs available.
hmmm...now I am thinking of it, I am not sure if they sell organic baby food in Protaras Supermarkets, but you will be able to find some in Pharmacies (you can definately find these however in Larnaca).
No worries about ATM%26#39;s/ Banks-these are highly profitable organisations here, so you find them everywere!

Be careful with the atm machines as people are reporting having money taken off their cards when they get back home. I usually go inside the bank with my visa card and passport and draw all the money i need in one go its a lot safer. My favourite restaurant is the Corner restaurant, turn left at the top of the road from the capo Bay, keep walking and its near the junction with the traffic lights. Astotia is also a nice one up at the macdonalds end of the strip. La Strada is a good italian up that way also. Any more info just ask

Hi took our son there at 6 months. Returned 4 times altogether to the Capo Bay. You should have no problems whatsoever. There is a restaurant called Diva(turn left on the road outside Capo bay) which has a childrens play area - with little tykes type toys and fantastic steak! We found all restaurants had high chairs - one even turned into a rockin play boat once food finished. I%26#39;d have no hesitation in taking small children there. Our son is now 11 but we found everything we needed. I think I took baby milk though. As for the heat I put my kids in the sun suits - I think I had them in M%26amp;S. Have fun.
