Hi, used this site recently to get some info for a stag weekend to Dublin and got some great help, now the big day is getting close and ive just booked 12 days all inclusive at the Merit Crystal Cove, now that ive done it I really hope it lives up to the billing the holiday operator gave it, got seaview room with Balcony, any info I can get from anyone on the hotel, the town, the weather and does and donts would be more than gratefully received, thanks all .

Hi Jock
You haven%26#39;t said when the big day is but as it is getting close I will assume it is in the next couple of months in which case it will be hot hot hot. I%26#39;ve never stayed at your hotel but I%26#39;ve heard it is very nice and as it is right on the sea you should get a nice sea breeze. Just make sure you use plenty of sunscreen as you don%26#39;t want to burn.
DO: Hire a car and get out and about around the island.
DO: Book a boat trip, either full day or sunset cruise with champagne which sounds just perfect for a honeymoon.
DO: Go up to the Karpaz if you have time. The scenery is breathtaking and there are some fantastic beaches (and wild donkeys of course).
DO: Go out and sample some local cuisine. Even though you are AI it%26#39;s worth it. The doner kebabs are great.
DO: Book Table 1 at Kybele Restaurant in Bellapais for a romantic meal overlooking the whole of Kyrenia.
DO: Wait until you get here to change the bulk of your cash into YTL because you will get a better rate.
DO: Go to the Old Harbour at least once because it is beautiful.
DO: Buy your beautiful new wife some fantastic jewellery to remember her honeymoon from one of the many lovely jewellery shops in Kyrenia. You could probably also throw in a nice leather handbag!!
DO: Go and see the turtles hatching if you are here before the end of August.
DON%26#39;T: Lose all your money in the casino. Your wife won%26#39;t be very happy!!!
Can%26#39;t think of any more don%26#39;ts.
I hope you both have a fantastic time.
Jo
