Now I suffer from Hayfever at this time of year in Britain but seem to remember that when I have been to Cyprus before I have been ok with it?? Or is my memory playing tricks on me?
Basically it is tree pollen that makes me bad and I guess they don%26#39;t have heaps of trees in Coral Bay. Can any other fellow hayfever sufferers advise whether they have been affected out there?

i suffer really bad, but never seem to have a problem when on holiday whether near the sea or in land.

Thanks Cherub that seemed to be my recollection too but was beginning to question the old gray matter!!

Hi Cherub
We%26#39;re not too far from Northumberland and I%26#39;m just as bad there as here!! It%26#39;s the fields of oil seed rape (yellow stuff) plus the trees that do it for me and they have loads of fields of that over there. Anyway, enjoy!!

Im staying in Wooler, never been to that part of the country before. i used to work all over Cumbria, kendal mainly, and Egremont and whitehaven

I%26#39;m also sensitive for hayfever. Never been to Cyprus before, so I don%26#39;t know for sure. But I%26#39;m always rather well on holidays. I guess flowering times are different in the South. I usually begin sneezing from april to august, and taking my holliday end of july, and I never seem to get into trouble. Take your medication with you, you never know! But I guess now the flowering time is over in Cyprus (except perhaps thyme and Oleander) and plants will already have produced seed, so harmless for hayfever patients. Enjoy your stay!

The only time I%26#39;ve had any problem with hayfever in Cyprus was when we went late April, and even then it was only mild symptoms, nothing like as bad as I get here in the UK.

Very little pollen at this time of year, April-May is when most things flower..
