Anyone stayed at Paradise Gardens Apartments at Kato Paphos?

I am thinking of booking an apartment at the Paradise Gardens Apartments III in Kato Paphos but I can%26#39;t find any reviews from anyone who has stayed here.

Has anyone stayed here, what is the complex like?

Also, how far away is it from Bar Street and restaurants and also the beach?

Many thanks

These are privately owned so don%26#39;t know if you will find any reiews. The area is very built up, like a large housing estate, but it is only a walk to bar street etc.

I%26#39;ve stayed here for a night with friends who were there for a fortnight.It%26#39;s a nice complex just off the dual carraigeway so it%26#39;s close to Bar Street etc(there%26#39;s a previous thread with a link to a map which shows the location). They(friends) had a 2nd floor apartment which had nice view across Paphos towards the sea.

Thnanks for your replies. If it is near the dual carriageway, can you hear the noise from the traffic at all?

I%26#39;ve also been looking at Limnaria Gardens which is on the other side of the dual carriageway. I%26#39;ve read something about there being a right and wrong side of the dual carriageway. What does this mean?

Both complexes look nice and I can%26#39;t decide between them so any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here%26#39;s the link from another thread showing the area.

You%26#39;ll see Paradise Gardens III has very little buildings around it and is next to the road. The only noise I heard was dogs barking from the donkey sanctuary which is the barren looking area below the complex, then there%26#39;s the road and on the other side is Limnaria. The %26quot;wrong%26quot; side just means you have to cross the road to access the tourist area,Bar Street etc.It doesn%26#39;t mean there%26#39;s anything wrong with it.

Paradise Gardens have three complexes, you can spot them on google earth as they are the s shaped apartments to the right of the dual carriageway. Number three are the furthest from this road so you don%26#39;t hear the noise from the cars. The road is pretty quiet compared to a dual carriageway here so don%26#39;t let that concern you. There are two proper pedestrian crossings from the universal area, which is where Paradise Gardens are. They are close to Bar St -about 12 minutes stroll - but far enough away to not be bothered by the late night music from this part of bar street area which you can actually hear until you get all the way to the dual carriageway in the height of summer. The apartments are about 4 years old, they are nice and modern but there are three stories, I have a friend that owns one, so quite alot of apartments, therefore lots of people when full up (only usually in the summer holidays).

Hi - I have an appartment in Paradise Gardens III and bought it because of its location to the main tourist area. It is far enough away not to be disturbed by noise from Bar Street etc. but near enough to comfortably walk. The piece of land next to our complex is occupied by a sanctuary which rescues dogs and donkeys. It is moving at some point but not sure when. As to the right and wrong side, there isn%26#39;t really one. Both sides are fine except one is slightly nearer to the tourist area than the other. Also the dual carriageway is not that busy compared to the UK. The gardens and pool area in all the Paradise Gardens complexes are really lovely with palm trees etc. I personally think the Paradise Gardens complexes are in an excellent location.
