1st time to Ayia Napa

Hi all,

Going to A.N in the 1st week in august and was just looking for some general info on the place like where to go, things to do(besides getting blotto every night!!). Also what is the currency over there?? Is it the Euro or Cypriot Pound??

All info greatly appreciated.

Currency is the euro, not been since it came in, so can%26#39;t comment on prices.

Well i guess that you know about the square and all it%26#39;s bars, which no doubt you will visit, i would, well worth it.

The beach down by the harbour is very nice.

As is nissi beach, it is abaout a 40 mins walk along nissi av, but well worth it.

You could get the bus into protaras for the day.

Or if you wanted to see a lot of cyprus, you could hire a jeep for 2 days.

it takes about 2 hours to drive down to paphos, and you can stop at other resorts on the way down. (they drive on the left)

This is the best way to see cyprus, well i think so.
