if someone comes upto you with a 3 monkey scratchcard and you have found you have won a star prize of £600 travel vouchers, a laptop or $00 euros it is all a con. its purely to get you to a timeshare presentation which lasts ages and you can only win the vouchers wich have so many clauses they are impossible to use.

If i had not paid for a scrachcard why would anyone be giveing me something for free I think must people are on to these scams now.

The best thing to do is ignore these (parasites) they hate it..... The reason they are persistant is they get £200 if they get you to the hotel where the timeshare people are. Got stopped 13 times in one day walking from the aquamare to the harbour and back. I got called a stupid cow and told to f**k off. Nice people, they think cause you are British like them you should listen to their slaver (spiel) Don%26#39;t even give them the time of day you will get your prize but will have to sit through 2 hours or more of why you should buy a timeshare when you could be enjoying your hol in the sun.

The touts are an absolute nightmare. I would love to know how anyone ends up doing this job - surely they must know themselves how much they are disliked! My husband %26amp; I found the best way to get rid of them was to never break stride and say %26quot;not interested%26quot;. None of them tried to pursue us or give abuse, but then maybe we were lucky enough to avoid the really nasty ones. It would be great if the local authorities could just ban them and let the holidaymakers get on with enjoying their hard earned hols!

Are you British and friendly was one of there favourite saying , we said no and just carried on walking , also beware we were stopped with 2 people on bikes loads of times , the first time we thought they wanted directions ,we got wise and just ignored them . We went to Coral Bay one morning and got stopped with a young man in very nice open top sports car , he was giving £600 away all you had to do was pick a holiday brochure up from a hotel and he got £100 and we got £600 off our next years holiday , we realised he too was a tout .He even offered to give us a lift up the hill to the hotel, he said the reason was tourism was down this year in Cyprus . Don%26#39;t believe any of them , just carry on walking and ignore .
