We have booked to go there soon (next couple of weeks)with our two children, we are worried about the temp in the day and the water shortage, how will it affect us, will we be able to get drinking water and have showers etc. Also what is this village like, the rooms, entertainment, pool etc. Thanks for your comments

Hiya,
I just saw your post.
I have posted a similar one, before i saw yours lol.
I%26#39;m planning to go at very end of August with my girlfriend and weve been offered a good deal at the Thalassaki village but we were going to book at the makronissos so we dont know which to choose.
Would you mind letting us know what the makronissos village is like when you get back please?
Cheers

We went to the Macronissos Village last year, going again late September which says it all really. We liked it very much, only downside is ,if you don%26#39;t have a hire car, the distance from Ayia Napa centre, but buses do run from outside. The waterpark is walking distance. Rooms were very nice, pool lovely, entertainment not so good, or maybe just not our cup of tea. We didn%26#39;t like the Garden of Eden which is the nearest restaurant, we found it over expensive and not child friendly - just our opinion, others seem to like it.
Our daughter has just come back from Pernera, the temps are very high, too hot to lay in the sun she says. She didn%26#39;t experience any problems with water, so hopefully this will continue.
Hope you have a good time, will try to help if you want to know anything else.
