Hotel Mayfair

We going to Hotel Mayfair, Pathos in October. Reviews have not been good. Has anyone got anything positive to say about this hotel I am getting a bit concerned.

never stayed in the hotel but know were it is. it is in a quite location half way between the harbour and the old town of paphos it looks quite large in october it will be cool enough to stroll to the harbour about a twenty minute walk although there is enough taxis around charge about 4 pounds any where you go but it is not far from all the things you need

We have left some feedback although for some reason not shown?

we where there from 3/6/08-17/6/08 and when i say we I mean 2 adults 3 kids under 7.

Anyway regarding feedback we had a basic but nice clean room (226) over looking main pool, however i had lot of negative feedback from people staying near baby pool or over looking main road so what i would say is that if you get an o.k room then you will be o.k.

Entertainment was great especially A.J with kids, after staying there 2 weeks i wish we upgraded to all inclusive for extra bit when we got there, as drinks very expensive even ice creams 2.50 euros each.

On a personal note i think the worst thing about the hotel is the amusements always breaking and the hotel always blamed an outside company which does not help with kids.

Positive note the swimming pools where great and my kids still keep going on about the holiday.

My title on feedback was you get what you pay for and i think the Mayfair somes this up it is not the best hotel but you wont get anything else like this near this budget in cyprus.

I stayed there about 4 yrs ago %26amp; as the last person has stated it is good for the money, having said that I really enjoyed my stay there. Things have probably changed by then but it was clean %26amp; comfortable
