Aphrodite Water Park

What is the Aphrodite Water Park like? Worth a visit? How far from Kefalos beach village? Thanks

I think we have been to this one, if its in phapos then its ok,its exoensive really as its not very big at all inside, not like many other water parks i have been to, its got a lazy river a flume ride, kids area, wave pool, eating area which is expensive again, and someother bits, but I woudlnt go again, we got put off when we pulled up infront of it, but as we a were already there decided to go in as the kids wanted to.Its up to you really, look the site up and you can have a look around the park.Oh by the way the bottom of the pools are very rough on you feet

We have been twice and enjoyed it both times. It is not as big as some as we have been to but we had a good day.

We went twice during our two week holiday and our kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The young kids area was especially good as ours were both under 6 at the time. It%26#39;s also top of their list for when we return again in a week or so. It isn%26#39;t cheap but you can bribe the kids with a trip there and get some peace for while!!!!

The price now is quite expensive. I think for 2 adults it worked out at aroung 55 Euro%26#39;s which I found disgusting so didn%26#39;t go!

But if it gives you peace and quiet from the kids then may be worth every penny!

You are right about it being expensive but, then again, I think ALL aquaparks are expensive for what they are.

I know that for the last few years the Aphrodite have been running an offer where you can book and pay for two days and you get the second day at a discount price. They don%26#39;t have to be two consecutive days either so you can go once in your first week then again in your second week. Not sure if they are doing it again this year but a visit to their website will tell you.

If you get there on the bus they will deduct your bus fare off the entrance price too.

The best water park is Fasouri at Limassol but it is a bit of a trek in the car for a day out. You can get coach trips from the travel agents though if you fancy it.

The Aphrodite is perfectly OK for a day out. My children are 12 and 5 and the kiddies section is ideal for the youngest.

Sorry CamCass - forgot to say that the best way to get there is on the number 11 bus which you would catch on the Tombs of the Kings Road and takes you all the way to the waterpark.

OMG - my head%26#39;s all over the place today - I meant the NUMBER 15 bus.
