Last Castle Restaurant

Anyone staying in Paphos - Coral Bay area must go to Last Castle Restaurant, it%26#39;s situated towards the Sea Caves area high in the hills, don%26#39;t attempt to go by car as the road can be very rocky and quite bumpy in places, but the trip there is well worth it, the food is fabulous chicken or pork BBQ with plenty of veg and king size home made chips, the views are out of this world, It%26#39;s only open in the summer season and closes i think, September, Enjoy.

Can anyone give some directions from Coral Bay? If it is high in the hills then, presumably, you have to turn off the road somewhere and start climbing. Whereabouts?

Karen,

you just follow the signs for the Akamas from Coral Bay , and once you get there follow the road along and you will pick up signs for the Last Castle (Viklari)after a few kms, you can see it to your right at the top of a hill. It is possible to drive right up in a car if you are careful, but I am not going to recommend it in case anyone sustains damage.

We went up there in April, and had a lovely meal. They are only open at lunchtime, and you would probably be advised to book as they are always busy.

Oh my goodness, that looks fabulous. Does it definitely close in September as I don%26#39;t get back out to Cyprus until 1st October but would love to give it a try.

I would have thought it would be open at least till the end of October , given that the weather is still usually good then. We went late April which was just after it had opened for the season. Telephone number 26991088 to check. I got the number off paphos-eating.com which is a useful site for restaurants.
