Where should I stay in Polis??

I stayed in Polis 7 years ago and had a fantastic time. We stayed in the Mariela and are scared to return incase our expectations are too high.

Can anyone recommend a quiet hotel, with not many children. I like a good clean self catering accomodation, usually prefer a one bedroomed apartment with a double bed. We also like to have a kettle, toaster, basic cooker and cooking implements and a nice pool to relax beside.

I%26#39;d also like to be within walking distance of Polis town.

There are so many places with high ratings on Trip Advisor I can%26#39;t make my mind up.

Any help is appreciated.

My wife and i stopped at the Stephanos apts which are even closer to the centre than the Mariella.The family who run it are very pleasant and it has a pretty large pool which was not very busy when we went late september last year.We stayed in a one bedroom apt which had everything you require(overlooking the pool) and the cost was £200 GBP.We both loved the convenience for the evening cafe culture of the Square.We have stayed in a couple of other Apt Complexs in Polis but much preferred the Stephanos. http://www.stephanos-hotel.com/

Thanks Keefw for replying to holly151 - I just booked the Stephanos today for 2 weeks in September, and am reassured by your post! I have had a couple of calls today to Maria and couple of emails, and so far very impressive!!

I would stay in a villa, self catering everything you need. Own pool BBQ etc..

You should have a wonderful time.As i said in my post yesterday they are a lovely family and make you very welcome.You should have no problems at all.

There is now a new large supermarket about 5 minutes walk on the Argaka Road where you can get virtually all your shopping in one place so you should have no problems getting all your basics.
