I have had our accommodation changed and need to choose an alternative. We have been offerred Aquasol but I am not sure. I have shortlisted a couple of others mainly on price so any comments on these would be appreciated:
Aquasol, Crown Resorts Horizon, Helios Bay 2 bed apt, Aquamare, Venus Beach or the St George Gardens Hotel suites, ....please comment I need to decide..

I can help you out on this one, dont bother with the aquasol, i went there last year in october, classed as a 4 star, it is not, no way, looks nice in the brochure, but not so good in real life.when we were we stayed at a pool side studio and every night in the dark, made our way to the door at the back of the studio, lights were broken in many places, bathroom was on the grubby side, and the whole place just looked likeit needed a extreme makeover.bedroon was ok, but we had stained sheets and its down a steep hill across from a building site, so you have a 15 mins walk to get up to coral bay.If it was me id go for the crown or the george, there are ofcourse some gorgeous hotel in phaphos, but they will be big bucks,the elsium would be top on my list. been past it , it looks fab-totally

just looked up the others you mentioned, and imo the aquamare looks the best, good accomodation and everything looks really nice. can i just ask,has your holiday company changed your holiday due to the water shortages.

Thanks for that, its good to hear yr opinions, would love to stay at the Elysium or Almyra but need to win the lottery as four of us...lol ..so perhaps next year... and just so u kno the change wasnt the water shortage (but we do no about that)... we were due to stay somewhere that wasnt built... so thanx again for yr info and will think it over and try to decide ....

its ok, your the same as me, theres four of us and it would cost far to much to stay in the elysuim, when we stayed at the aquasol for a week last year it cost us 1900, self catering which is expensive imo, the food prices in cyprus are exoensive so you might be better of taking avantage of half board in a hotel, depending on the cost.

We stayed at the Aquamare in April and enjoyed our stay. Only bad point was the distance to the harbour. I believe most of the others are also a fair way outside Paphos as well, but I haven%26#39;t stayed in any of them.

Agree, the Aquamare is a good choice and is walkable (on the flat) into Paphos.

I agree the Aquamare Hotel is possibly the best choice, newly built 7 looks stunning I believe it is quite reasonable
