Have never been to Cyprus and would love to go for a beach holiday. Can any body recommend somewhere for a couple which is close to the beach with nice views. Preferably with working air conditioning, pool and self catering. A good size balcony would be a bonus.

I am a retired person in my prime - most of the holidaymakers we saw in Cyprus were of a similar age !!

Coral Bay suits us, it%26#39;s flat %26amp; has plenty of bars %26amp; restaurants without being noisy, it also has a good frequent bus service to paphos %26amp; what is arguably the best beaches on Cyprus.We hire A villa there but there are plenty of apartments %26amp; hotels. we stayed in Paphos for ten consecutive years but it got to commercialized for us. Check it out.

The best beaches are on the south eastern side of the island, Protaras, Pernera %26amp; Ayia Napa. Difficult to recommend any one particular hotel but have a look at the recent reviews on TripAdvisor which should help you. You are as old as you feel!!
