weather in september

We are thinking of going to cyprus mid september - what are the average temperatures both during the day and in the evening

Hi. We always go to Cyprus in mid September, as it is just that little bit cooler.Expect low 80s during the day and low 70s at night. This will be our eighth visit this year and always in the middle of September. I can assure you, you will not need a jacket or cardigan.

Enjoy your holiday.

Reith.

P.S. It%26#39;s a couple of degrees lower in the Troodos mountains, but not a lot.

I think September is the best month to go to Cyprus. Still nice and hot during the day and lovely and warm in the evening.

Totally agree with the above two posts. September in Cyprus is fantastic. You can walk out in the evening in just a strappy dress or top and it is warm. Love it!

Another thumbs up for September. That is our favourite time of year to visit Cyprus (unfortunately with the children being at school we now have to go in August).

Lovely hot days in the high 20s and warm evenings where you don%26#39;t need a cardi. It%26#39;s nice and hot but not to the point where the sweat pumps out of you as soon as you leave the cool of the air-con.

thanks a lot for your replies - that clinches it - sounds just right for us. We have just retired this year - can anyone recommend which area would suit us. We like walking, eating in local tavernas and love the sea and sandy beaches.
