waterparks in Cyprus

Hi, We;re going on holiday to north cyprus in August, just wondered which is the best waterpark to go to?

We have a 13 and 10 year old. Are they all really busy? and what about the north Cyprus one? Thanks.

Well Babs, the one in Catalkoy (the Octopus I think it%26#39;s called) is very small and if your children are used to the big, all singing, all dancing Mediterranean ones they will be bitterly disappointed. They only opened each slide one at a time when we went.

On the times we visited our son was quite small so he didn%26#39;t mind the tame water rides but we haven%26#39;t even bothered going since he grew up a bit.

Having said that, we had a lovely time and the owners brought us melon and apple turnovers out after we had bought a sandwich at the kiosk.

If you are travelling south to visit the parks you are in for a long journey. I would imagine it taking 2 hours to drive down to Limassol to the water parks there. The best one is Fassouri. I don%26#39;t know if the one at Ayia Napa is a bit closer to you but we found it really noisy. There seemed to be a music speaker next to every lounger in the place so there is no respite from the loud music.
