Just returned from Peyia which is about 2 miles from Coral Bay, Coral Bay is mostly one high street with some very good restaurants and bars, also a good place to exchange sterling to euro, [betting shop called score ] as the name Coral bay has a very good beach, the better less crowded beach is where the bus turns round, beach beds etc will cost you 2euro for each item, carefull of the large rocks in the sea!if your liable for Mossy bites put plenty of spray on and NO perfume/aftershave. hope it helps

Coral Bay is lovely but apart from the beaches, restaurants and bars there is little else there. It is pretty much an adult/young family orientated place where most of the nightlife centres on having a meal and a drink.
There is a bar called the Sunset Bar (up some steps above a parade of shops) which has music every night and karaoke and live artists on most nights. They also have a bit of a dancefloor at the far end if he likes a bit of a boogie. The Elephant restaurant hold Greek night (not sure what night it is) and they have bazouki music and dancing and balancing the glasses. In fact, I think a few of the restaurants have Greek night.
If you want to take him somewhere a bit more lively, hop on the bus to Paphos and head for Bar Street. The buses leave from Coral Bay every 10 minutes or so and take you all the way into the main tourist centre of Paphos.
Bar Street is where the younger crowd head to and there are more lively places playing music and some have tribute artists on at night. There are big screen TVs, disco lights and dancing. Having said that, it isn%26#39;t rowdy or threatening in any way and everyone, young and old, are equally welcome.

coral bay is more or less just like anywhere else in the med, for a 15 yr old there is never much todo, there are however things on the beach, banana boats, pedalos, a few things like that, there no thumping night life thats for sure, thank god, it quiet and nice enough, pop along to phaphos for loads of shops and diving trips etc

Got back from Coral Bay last week. Some good bars/restaurants especially La Vigna (Excellent authentic Italian) Seriani (Taverna Style) and Coral Bay Chinese (goodish value and air conditioned, which you will discover is quite important at the moment).
Try also The Palm Grove (another Italian - not bad) and Adriani.
There is a Elvis tribute act doing the rounds, a few Karaoke bars etc. Prices range from 4.20 euros to 2.40 for either a big bottle or can of Keo. Draught pints was about 3 euro for Keo, Carlsberg. The Coral Sunset does a 2 for 1 happy hour on cocktails (6.00pm to 7:30pm) which range from 5.20 euros for a Gin Martini/Sea Breeze to 7.20 euros for Long Island Ice Tea/Cheeky Vimto etc. Good value to start the evening off.
The Beach is fine but apparantly gets a bit rowdier during high season. The next bay along is quieter - can%26#39;t remember the name.
It is very hot (got up to 44C when we left, and the locals reckon it will only get hotter). Coral Bay is in a bit of a valley, so you don%26#39;t get much of a breeze.
Of the 2 reasonable sized supermarkets on the main road, %26quot;Kings%26quot; is cheaper than %26quot;Angelina%26#39;s%26quot;. Prices are about the same as the UK for local stuff. Imported British goods are more expensive. All told we had a great holiday - but it is more expensive than you might think - a regular visitor in the next villa to us reckoned it had gone up 25% since last year.

Forgot to say that the exchange rate was 1.20 to 1.22 in some places - but I%26#39;ve been back for over a fortnight now. I want to go back (but slightly out of season - April or October I reckon)
