Taxi from Larnaca Airport to Limassol-5 people+5 suitcases!

Hi there,

We are arriving at Larnaca Airport and need to get to Limassol. Please can someone tell me the cheapest way to get to Limassol?? I%26#39;ve tried our hotel and so far have had no response.

There doesn%26#39;t seem to be much in these forums on it either.

There are 5 of us with 5 suitcases so would ideally want a big people carrier to travel together to also make it cheaper. Is this available at the airport?? Is it cheaper to prebook? How do I do this?

Also is there a bus or shuttle service that runs between the 2 at all?

Also what are taxis like in Cyprus? Are they metered and do you need to ask the price before embarking on your journeys?

Hi, normally we pre-book a transfer with the holiday company, as you get met at the airport and your return transfer is automatically sorted, one less thing to worry about. Usually cost around £32 per person (incl return)

Otherwise, when you get to Larnaca, outside there is a large taxi rank, mostly large mercedes type taxis but people carriers as well.

You can ask on arrival, but ask how much first, its only an hour to Limassol from the airport, and sounds like it may be cheaper if theres 5 of you to do it like that. But you%26#39;ll have to keep a phone number because youll have to ring yourself to sort out your return trip back to Larnaca

The last thing you need to be worrying about is a bus to Limassol after a tiring flight and five suitcases! Get a quote from www.grabthatcab.com. Their web site will give full details of prices which are reasonable. As a previous posting states there are usually plenty of taxis outside the airport but personally with that amount of people and luggage I%26#39;d be inclined to pre book.
